Winners receive monetary prizes and the opportunity to showcase their work at an awards ceremony. This year’s hongkong prize shortlist includes six artists who are making a difference in society. Among them, Noormah Jamal from Pakistan made the cut with her acrylic-on-canvas painting called Did the Seed Grow? The piece depicts two figures sitting on a wall with vacant expressions. The proceeds from the auction will be used to support SAF’s expressive arts workshops for children from disadvantaged communities.
Organized by Generocity, the hongkong prize is a unique competition that seeks innovative ideas on establishing an Official Development Assistance program in Hong Kong. Interested Fellows may submit their original research (including prospective or retrospective clinical studies, observational or epidemiological studies, basic science studies and meta-analysis) published in HKJO during 2021.
